Baby Shower Invitation

I just love this Baby Shower invitation.  My friend and downline Kathy MacNeil made this beautiful shower card for a friend's baby shower...

She used the medium die cut scallop circle on the Big Shot.  She embossed the card with the swiss dot embossing folder and added the ribbons and flowers for a little bling...

So cute!!

A Beach Themed Wedding

Good Morning,

Here is another example of some items that I finished for an upcoming wedding.  This bride used a stock wedding invitation with a sand dollar on top of the invitation. The invitation is a white invitation with a blue sand dollar on the top and blue lettering.  Her menu cards were the opposite - blue cardstock with white printing and star fish along the top of the menu card.

She was looking for table cards and place cards to coordinate with her beach themed wedding.  I used a white metallic cardstock, and a Stampin' up! stamp set with marina mist ink to make the table and place cards.

The edge of the Table card and place cards are punched with the lace edge punch to add a little punch to the cards.  The place cards are going to be attached to star fish with raffia.

Very Pretty!!

I have many great ideas for any theme or color scheme!!

In the final stretch....

Well - it is June 25th and I am in the final stretch of finishing up all the pieces for the Ruby Baroque wedding...  Here are some pictures of the various pieces that I have made for the wedding...

I love the colors and the end result!  The first picture is the complete set.

Invitation -
The ruby invitation with a matching baroque motif embossed on the front of the invitation.  This is a pocketfold invite and has a reception card and response card with envelope inside that have also been stamped with the ruby colored baroque motif.  The invitation itself is an off white metallic paper and has been mounted on a gray cardstock layer and then on the metallic ruby pocketfold.

The baroque image is from Stampin' UP!'s stamp set called Baroque Motifs.  Stampin' Up's Elegant Eggplant ink matches the ruby of the invitation well.

 Menu Card
This next piece is a matching menu card.  I printed the menu on the off white metallic paper in a font that matches the invitations and stamped the baroque design.  The menu is layered on a layer of gray cardstock and a layer of Ruby metallic cardstock.

Table Card and Place Card
Michelle and Steven have named their tables after places they have visited.  Once again I printed the table cards on the off white metallic and stamped them with the baroque motif.  They are layered on gray cardstock and the ruby metallic cardstock.

The place cards will be printed on the off white metallic paper and stamped with the baroque motif.  They are mounted onto a piece of the ruby metallic cardstock.

Well - I struggled with how to package up everything that I had put together...  I wanted a nice way to present all of the elements to the couple.  I found this off white bag at a local discount store.  I stamped the bag with the baroque motif to match the rest of the wedding ensemble.

Interested in custom wedding invitations?  I have quite a selection of cardstocks in a variety of colors, both metallics and non-metallics.

More Baroque Wedding ideas

Here are another couple of wedding invite ideas using metallic cardstock with a pocketfold design.

These are 5" x 7" invitations with an inside pocket that can be used to hold the reception card, response card and envelope and direction cards.
I used Stampin' Up!'s Baroque Motif stamp set with Elegant Eggplant ink and versamark.  I embossed the images with clear embossing powder.  The invitation is shimmer white cardstock layered on elegant eggplant cardstock.

The second invitation is a portrait formatted invitation in a Ruby metallic cardstock.  I used an image of an orchid on this invitation.

New Wedding Invitation

I was recently contacted by a newly engaged gal and her mother looking for wedding invitations.

Her colors are deep purple, like an eggplant color and silver.  She likes the baroque design and pocketfold style invitation.

So I immediately thought of the Stampin' Up! set Baroque Motifs for the design on the invitation.

I made a few samples for her.  The first is a Metallic white pocketfold invitation.  The finished invitation folded up measures 6 1/4" x 6 1/4".

The invitation is printed on white shimmer paper and layered on Elegant Eggplant cardstock.  There is a pocket on the right side with room for a reception card, response card with return envelope and direction card or hotel instructions.  The seal on the front is made with white shimmer paper layered on Elegant Eggplant cardstock.

I stamped the Baroque motif using versamark and elegant eggplant ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

The second sample is made with a Metallic "Ruby" colored pocketfold invitation.  The seal is white shimmer paper layered onto Silver cardstock.  It is very difficult to tell the color, but the Ruby is a little darker than the Eggplant.

I enhanced the outside of the invitation by stamping the baroque design with versamark and embossing it with clear embossing powder.  This creates a raised watermark type of image.

The inside of this invitation has the same pockets to hold all the relevant information.  I printed the invitation on Shimmer white cardstock and layered it on silver mettalic cardstock.

Which one do you like better?

Thank you for checking out my invitations!

Christmas Wedding

I recently participated in a swap with other stationery designers that design cards and wedding invitations.  I love to share ideas and see other's creations.  You never know where you will find inspiration.

For a swap, I create one design and make 10 copies of that design.  I then trade my design with other designers.  It is a great way to see others' techniques and get other ideas.

For this swap, I wanted to create a Christmas Wedding invitation.    I used the Bells & Boughs Stamp set from Stampin' Up with Cherry cobbler cardstock, brushed metallic gold and shimmery white cardstock.  The Holly image from the Bells & Boughs stamp set is stamped and embossed in white on the Cherry Cobbler.  I used cream velvet ribbon and a heart border punch to create the top border.

The holly is hand stamped and embossed with artichoke ink and then colored with inks.  The berries on the holly are pearls that I have colored with permanent marker.

This invitation is stunning and can be customized to any color or Holiday.  It would also be beautiful for Valentine's Day.
